Composer/songwriter Arthur Winer is available for custom scoring for advertising, film, TV, radio, stage, DVD and other projects. Arthur is comfortable working within a wide variety of styles, instrumentations and arrangements. His specialty is guitar-oriented, vibey, 1960's-ish music.
Below are some clips of some of Arthur's instrumental work. These compositions and others are available for licensing, or Arthur can create new
music to suit your project.
MP3 clips!
Riptide Wrangler (500 K excerpt, 192 kBps). A rockin' surf song with a '60s vibe. It sounds like a Venture's theme song for a lost TV Western.
Nights in Vermouth (1.8 MB excerpt, 192 kBps), featuring classical guitar, cello, and wah-wah guitar. Haunting, lush, and dramatic. An amalgam of '60s psychedelia and Latin charm.
Space Song part 2 (1 MB excerpt, 192 kBps). A surf-punk up-tempo song. Listen for the acoustic Theremin (AKA, a saw played with a bow).
Moon Waltz in G (1.5 MB excerpt, 192 kBps). A lilting waltz featuring cello, baritone guitar, drums, and synth.
Haole Holiday (500 K excerpt, 192 kBps). Lapsteel, "ukulele" (actually, an acoustic guitar through a filter) and drums.
Weightless (1.8 MB excerpt, 192 kBps), featuring tremolo baritone guitar, cello, and acoustic guitar. Moody, and dramatic. Great choice for underscore.
Dreamland (800 K excerpt, 192 kBps). Haunted lapsteel and acoustic guitar.
July in Brooklyn (1 MB excerpt, 192 kBps). Here's a lazy July number that I co-wrote with kool kats
David Gould (bass) and Andrew Innes (alto sax).
You Know (1.8 MB excerpt, 192 kBps). Acoustic guitar and baritone guitar. Sweet, happy progression.
Fibinacci (998 K download). A wacky, comic synthesizer piece.
Zero Gravity (1.6 MB download). Larger-than-life, analog synth weirdness. Dramatic in an "overblown" kind of way.
